Senior spΘTlight || Siddharth Musale crossed into Theta Tau in the Fall of 2016 as a member of the Xi Class. He will be graduating with a degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering. In the fraternity, Sid has served as the Webmaster during the Spring of 2017. Sid has played a very active role in the School of Engineering community, working as a peer mentor and learning assistant since sophomore year. In his impressive professional career, he has interned at Unilever working in their digital services department and is currently completing a software engineering Co-op at Zoll Medical Corporation. When he’s not coding or helping other engineering student learn, you’ll find Sid scarfing down a burrito bowl from Chipotle (with a tortilla on the side). He treasures his yorkie poo named Oreo and all the time he has spent camping and hiking with with his family in the summer. He’s always happy to have a conversation about the Office or Silicon Valley and will be there to play Fifa at a moment’s notice. Sid has been amazing role model and mentor to both of his littles in the fraternity and his ever smiling face will be greatly missed. We wish you luck in whatever comes next and can’t wait to see all the amazing things you accomplish.
Senior spΘTlight || Shreya Soni is a member of the Xi class and will graduate this May with a degree in Biomedical Engineering. Upon joining the fraternity, she became very involved by serving as Community Service Chair, Scribe, and New Member Educator and has made an amazing impact on the fraternity by encouraging a strong brotherhood. A conscientious student, Shreya has numerous research experiences, working on fascinating projects like designing an extracorporeal liver and applying wound healing techniques. She has been interning at Colgate-Palmolive for two years and will begin pursuing a PhD in Biomedical Engineering. Outside the classroom, Shreya loves to spend time with friends and family. She can be found watching her favorite shows, “Jane the Virgin” and “The Bachelor,” or working out at the gym. Her bright smiles, caring nature, and vivacious energy will forever be remembered and missed by the fraternity. We know the future is bright and joyous with Dr. Shreya Soni PhD leading the way and continuing to give back. Shreya, good luck for what’s ahead! Thanks for the fun adventures, and don’t forget to come visit!
Senior spΘTlight || Zikun Deng joined Theta Tau in Spring 2019 as a member of the Omicron class. He will be graduating in May 2019 with a degree in Materials Science and Engineering. As a brother of Theta Tau, he was a New Member Educator for the Rho class. Outside of the fraternity, he has also had experience as a research student at the AMIPP Advanced Polymer Center at Rutgers where he helped make better the processing steps for GNF Enhanced HDPE. When he is not working, you can catch him at any hot pot restaurant or any restaurant as Zikun is a huge foodie. He also loves to binge watch Netflix shows and recently he was really into The Umbrella Academy and Love, Death, and Robots. However, one of his all time passions is surfing and he wants to go surfing all around the world. We are really going to miss Zikun next year and his amazing sense of personality and humor will never be replaced. He is a friend to us all and although we will be sad that he is going, we all know he will do amazing things in the future! Thank you Zikun for everything and we can’t wait to see what you do next! Please visit us soon!
Senior spΘTlight || Brooks Tawil crossed into Theta Tau in the Spring of 2017 as a member of the Omicron Class. He will be graduating this year with a double major in Electrical and Computer Engineering and Computer Science. Brooks has worn many hats in the fraternity as the Webmaster, the Rush Chair for his little’s class, the Rhos, and as the Regent for the entirety of his senior year, promising and delivering on the development of the fraternity’s brotherhood and Executive Board growth. But no one gets a full-time job at Citibank just contributing to one organization. Brooks has also been deeply involved in organizations such as Tau Beta Pi, the engineering honor society, serving as the Vice President, the Engineering Governing Council, Rutgers Hillel, and being at the forefront of Rutgers’ research organizations, diving deep into machine learning. When not at his computer, Brooks can be found in one of three places, Werblin gym, MetLife Stadium cheering on the Jets, or learning guitar in the comfort of 48 Ray. Brooks’ unparalleled enthusiasm, charisma, and overall positive nature around his peers, tied with his genuine selfless love for making people smile and laugh will be greatly missed among the Brothers of Theta Tau. We wish you great luck in his increasingly bright future, and we hope you visit the fraternity you’ve worked so hard to improve very frequently.
Senior spΘTlight || Caroline Kim joined Theta Tau in Spring 2016 as a member of the Nu class. She will be graduating in May with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. In the fraternity she has continually dedicated her time and effort to make it a wonderful place for everyone. Previously serving as the Regent she has helped lead the fraternity to newer heights and continues to give back and help current members. Upon graduating she will be working at Harris Corporation in Florida. While in the future she will be enjoying warmer weather, the fraternity will not forget her contagious energy and outgoing personality. You can find her in the gym aspiring to always be a better version of herself or on various trips as she loves to travel and explore what the world has to offer. Thank you for all the adventures, laughs, and energy that you have brought into this fraternity. You will do amazing things in the future and don’t forget to keep in touch.
Senior SpΘTlight || Faith Johnson joined Theta Tau in Spring 2017 as a member of the Omicron Class. She will be graduating in May 2019 with a degree in Computer Engineering and a minor in Math. In the fraternity, she has served as the Treasurer for two semesters. Through this position, Faith has put a lot of time and effort into the fraternity and ensuring its success. On the academic side, she has done research in the astronomy department, focusing on the role of dark matter in galaxy formation and predicting temporal sequences. She is currently a dedicated employee of Maker Space on College Ave, doing everything in her power to help college students turn their thoughts and ideas into reality. You can always spot her on campus with her unique sparkly pink backpack that shines as brightly as she does. She loves to write and perform her own music in her free time and she’s always there for you when you need a friend. We wish her good luck in all her future endeavors. Thank you for always being there to greet us with a warm hug and cheery smile and we can’t wait to see how high you soar!
Senior spΘTlight || Kush Patel joined Theta Tau in Spring 2017 as a member of the Omicron class. He is graduating in May 2019 with a degree in Mechanical Engineering with an Energy Concentration. Upon graduating, he will be working as an Energy Engineer for TRC Solutions. Ever since becoming a member of Theta Tau, Kush has held internships and jobs in various companies. His junior year, he was an engineering intern at MW Industries, one of the world's premier manufacturers of industrial products. Since then, he has been working at the Industrial Assessment Center under the US Department of Energy. Along with these busy jobs, Kush has also been a Learning Assistant for Physics courses for 3 years. On his downtime, he loves listening to hip-hop and rap and also enjoys some Bollywood music. He is an avid Arsenal and Giants fan and sticks with them through their good and bad times. He is also an adventurer and enjoys going on hikes with his friends. His fun and outgoing personality will definitely be missed next year. Thank you for always lifting the mood with your presence and being there to help anyone in the fraternity. Good luck in your future and stay in touch!
Senior spΘTlight || Pragya Hooda joined Theta Tau in Fall 2016 as a member of the Xi class. She will be graduating in May 2019 with a degree in Biomedical Engineering. In the fraternity, she has served as the Brotherhood Chair, Historian, and New Member Educator. Through holding these three positions, she has given a lot of time and care into making this fraternity reach its full potential. In her senior year, she didn’t stop giving back to Theta Tau, as she was Dance Marathon Captain, Historian, and New Member Educator. She even went as far as helping the upcoming Historian with getting accustomed to the responsibilities that come with holding the position. When she isn’t studying or devoting her time to Theta Tau, Pragya loves to listen to Spanish Music and spend time with her friends and family. Her caring personality and presence around BCC will be dearly missed. We wish her good luck in all future endeavors.
